The following information has been provided by the Riverside Sheriff?s Department: The Palm Desert Police Department will be conducting a driving while intoxicated/driver?s license checkpoint on Friday August 29th, from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. This checkpoint is part of the ongoing public safety awareness effort being made by the City of Palm Desert.
