South Carolina DUI Laws About to Get Tougher

It?s not so much going to be the penalties getting tougher, it is just the LOOPHOLES used to avoid DUI convictions in South Carolina are going to be a lot slimmer. Governor Mark Sanford signed has approved a new law to toughen the state?s DUI penalties and remove enforcement loopholes, which the governor called for in his State of the State address as part of his ?First 30 Days Agenda.? The bill significantly strengthens the state?s DUI laws, toughening penalties for most first time offense
